Exam Fever. I'm in HOT soup.
Flashback to last sat, where MPFC had a match against this team that consists of students from Bedok View Sec. Clearly an opponent far superior as compared to the previous match we had, this was a test to see how the lads fare. As usual i led the team out, and got ourselves an excellent 4-1 victory. But unfortunately i got a knock on my ankle from that game, and was quite worried on my condition for the SLK match on Sunday.
Sunday morning was slightly hectic. Haha i woke up around 7.30am as i would be going over to Ed's place. Apparently her mum wants to see me and all, so i had to leave a good impression right? I made my way to yishun after a long bus ride and got ed's family some breakfast. Haha met her siblings and mum and it was indeed an interesting and candid family.
It was at ed's place whereby i realised my ankle had swell quite badly over the night. The slightest contact and i would feel an unbearable acute pain. Shit.
We left in the afternoon and headed towards Tampines. The SLK match was held at East View Sec, against a team whom we drew 1-1 on the previous occasion. But i didn't play this time round, so did many of the key players. The make-shift SLK team fell to a demoralising 5-1 loss after going 3 games unbeaten. Dissapointed, i was. But considering the lack of a leader on the pitch and the absence of key players made it hard to believe we could conjure a result from the fixture.
Ed and i headed back to yishun after that. Caught 'An American Haunting'. It was alright, nothing very spectacular about it actually. Sent ed back home before making my way back...
Ed stayed over at my place on tuesday. Haha interacted with my family members alittle. She even got herself some nice moments...
Cheeky picture, isin't it? Haha..
Studied alittle, but basically was spending most of the time enjoying each other's company. Sent her back home yesterday night.. Just loved the moments we had together. =)
Exams are starting tomorrow. Fortunately the paper begins at 2.30pm, which leaves me plenty of time to slack today before i start to panic tomorrow morning. Haha the classic 'Adrian' attitude i must say. Can't wait for the exams to finish ( next wednesday ) and for the holidays to begin.
Work? Most likely. Ed's most probably will be working at Sentosa. I received offers from Giordano to go back, they even tried to entice me by offering me the location i wanted so badly last time-Parkway Parade. Haha but i kept my options opened and asked for some time to consider. The fact that should ed or i want to meet up during working days held me back.. Going all the way to Sentosa, or she coming all the way to Parkway would be quite inconvenient.. Anyway i'm looking to head into a different industry. I want to learn more and acquire new skills. Job openings anyone??
The Ballerina
A good-looking woman walks into a bar wearing a tube top. She sits down at the end of the bar and immediately raises her hand to signal the bartender for a beer. At that moment, everybody notices that she doesn't shave her armpits. When she finishes her drink she raises her arm again to get another one. Again, everybody sees her incredibly hairy armpits. This happens a few times.
Meanwhile, a drunk man on the other side of the bar says to the bartender as he passes him, "Hey! D'you see that ballerina on the other side of the bar?"
The bartender gives him a nod.
"Buy her a drink on me."
The bartender replies, "Sure, but how do you know she's a ballerina?"
"Because," answers the drunken man, "any chick who can lift her leg that high has GOT to be a ballerina."
Spot on.
Cheers =)

Awesome. Simply awesome.
It's been awhile since i last entered a post, apologise for that. Haha was so occupied with so many things ( read: lazy ) that i simply have no time to blog. But hey now that i managed to gather some time, i'm gonna give a rough description on what has occured during the past 3 weeks or so.
School's pretty boring as usual. The skipped lectures, the copied tutorials, everything seemed to be at norm. haha nothing much to talk about my darn school life, except that next friday marks the start of the very much dreaded exams.. bahz..
3 weeks gone, 3 sundays gone. 3 AFL matches played. 3 awesome results. I have never felt so proud of the lads before til this particular period. Winning 2 games and getting a draw against the top team was certainly a hell of a achievement considering our measly standard.. ahahah. unfortunately some of the lads have their upcoming 'A' levels to concentrate on, and as such our squad will be depleted in weeks to come. But nah no pressure on them to commit, i understand that studies come first. Good luck in your upcoming prelims and of course the 'A' levels JC lads =)
Life has never been sweeter. It's been awhile since anyone had made me feel this way. Many thanks to my lovely ed for being part of my life. This month or so have been awesome ( thus the title ). Good results in AFL plus great moments with ed.. haha..
Today( 17 August ) marks the 1st month anniversary of our relationship. It was simply so... magical.. haha i skipped lecture today so that the whole day would belong just to each another. Ed came over to my place early afternoon, and it was the start of an awesome day...

I got a couple bracelet for the both of us as a gift for this special day. Mine had the words "Edwina" and "Beautiful" engraved on the bracelet on the front and back of it respectively. Ed's had "Adrian" and "Love" engraved. Thus the term "Beautiful Love" and our names and all.. haha mushy isin't it..( but i like it. ) The look on her face upon receiving this gift made it all worthwhile. She got for me a nice crystalised bookmark with my name and encouraged me to read more.. ahahaha..

I ordered a cake for this special occasion too. Collected it this morning when i had breakfast with my family. It was suited for 2, but seeing ed gobbled it down( she's a cake lover ) made me worried there may not be enough.. ahahahah =p

The cake -> Pre-Ed

The cake -> Post-Ed
haha.. she's gonna kill me for posting that =p
Anyway we headed to Suntec to catch a movie in the evening. We caught this show called "Ghost Game" which is actually about this group of 11 contestants taking part in a reality horrow show. They are to stay in this deserted island which is haunted and all and withstand the fear of ghosts and all, with the last one standing winning 5 million baht( not worth it at all ah.. to face supernatural stuff and get measly returns.. and that's if you don't die and win. ) It was alright actually. Abit nonsenstical at the end, but overall it was still alright. haha ed screamed at a 'non-scary' scene so loudly everyone looked at us and started laughing.. we too, couldn't control our laughter for what had happened.. haha.
After the show we reckon it was still early, and to the arcade we went. I exposed ed to the world of arcade recently. We were at the arcade located within Tampines Mall and we played House of the Dead 2. haha ed got such a thrill out of it she started to get wild about these gun stimulator games. At the Suntec arcade we tried our hands at the latest House of the Dead 4.. It was a hell of a game, with new features and better graphics.. haha in ed's terms, it carried 'more kick'. haha..
We took bus 36 and headed for Changi Airport. This was the location whereby we parted and ended what would be a superb and wonderful day. From there, we walked around before i sent ed off to her bus-stop. I headed to take bus 36 back home..
A day never to be forgotten. A special day with my Beautiful Love.
Sexy Timepiece
A man is sitting at a bar one night, wearing a fancy new watch, covered with buttons and lights and dials. The woman next to him says, "Wow, that's a really fancy watch."
Thanks, says the guy, "It's the cutting edge of technology. I can telepathically ask this watch anything I want to know, and it'll answer me, telepathically."
"Rubbish," says the girl.
"No, it's true," says that guy. "Look, tell you what, I'll prove it. I'll ask it if you've got any panties on."
The guy scrunches up his eyes for a moment, as if concentrating hard to talk to his watch, then opens them and says, "Nope, it says you haven't got any panties on."
"Well, it's wrong," says the girl, "I do have panties on."
"Damn," says the guy, slapping his watch, "it's an hour fast!"
Cool shit eh.
Cheers =)

You can if you BELIEVE.

It has been quite some time since i last posted an entry.. Been very busy nowadays, especially with ALOT of travelling to yishun.. haha ed and i have been seeing each other almost everyday for the past 10 days, and according to sam it was 'madness'.. haha but hey now it's the honeymoon period, so might as well make it as enjoyable as it could get.
can't really remember any specific events that occured during the time i was AWOL from this blog.. ahahah.. let's see... ah yes.
sunday was the first time that ed seen me play soccer. the afl match between siling soccerers ( whom we lost 4-1 to previously ) was held at orchid park secondary, thus ed was able to come down for the game. i had to wake up early that day so as to collect joey's jersey kit. he was unable to make it, and as there were new players who will be coming for a trial game, i had to go to aljunied to get the kit from jo since he was too lazy to come over to my side... bahz...
i made jo treat me lunch.
after that i took the train and my long journey towards yishun began.. i headed to ed's house first, took a short rest and made some small talk with her little sis ( she was the only one at home then, besides ed of course. ) . after that ed and i headed towards orchid park sec.
all geared up. although we were missing several key players, we had adequete coverage within the squad. we went into the game like men possessed- chasing and hounding the opponents whenever they had the ball.. our attacking players were constantly being 'pests' to their defence. it was only a matter of time til we get a goal.
the first half ended 0-0. siling got reduced to 10 men shortly before the break as one of their players got sent off for dissent and verbally insulting the referee.. wtf grown up men nowadays ah.. behaving like small kids... ahahaha.. tsk tsk.
after 10 mins in the 2nd half, sam's steriods finally took its effect. receiving the ball at the right flank, he tango-ed his way through a player before bursting through the defence with his pace.. one-on-one with the keeper, he fired a bullet into the bottom corner of the goal, leaving no chance for the keeper. 1-0 to SLK. against the 10 men Siling.
it was then i saw something that i have not seen for so long. it was the look of complacency in the lad's eyes.
that said, we got hit 3 goals from the surging siling, and although we pulled a goal back from farhan, i was really disappointed at our performance. but nevertheless it was another valuable experience learned. we will get our next win this coming sunday. we must.
after the game ed and i went for a walk around yishun park.. it has been ages since i last went there.. probably like 7 years ago when i was still staying at yishun.. haha.. when it got late, i sent ed home before making my way back..
we caught nacho libre yesterday.. haha it was an enjoyable show with alot of laughs.. the first line in my entry explains what the show is about.. after the show we headed for yishun.. walked alittle before heading home..
after i had sent ed back, i made my way home. just to let you know how i travel back home from ed's house, this is it- i would take 804 from the bus-stop situated near her place and travel towards yishun interchange, whereby i would take a bus to woodlands interchange. from there, i would take 966, which would lead me back home... ahahha... 3 bus rides- thank god for the concession pass. =p
during the 966 bus ride yesterday, my journey was stalled for about 10mins. the bus was in the highway, and there seemed to be an accident that occured in front.. all the vehicles were stalled for awhile.. everyone in the bus was curious on wad happened, me included, but i was more pissed at the delay.. when the journey resumed, we learnt that a car had actually overturned in the highway... it must have been quite a bad accident, hopefully the people in the car would be alright... journey back home was smooth after that delay..
this sat i would be going to the ndp preview with ed.. turned out that she managed to get 2 grandstand tickets.. ahaha.. we seem pretty excited about it, let's hope it will turn out great. =)
this had been a pretty long post i must say.. and the only reason why i have time posting is beacuse of a screw-up by me ah.. ahaha i woke up at 9.20, thinking that class was at 11... only for me to come online and get informed that i am still half-asleep.. class is at 12 ah... zzzzz....
The Hunting Knife
A guy was driving his truck along the interstate, when he admitted to his wife that he had screwed around on her. She proceeded to cut his penis off with a hunting knife, and throw it out the window.
The penis whizzed through the air and landed momentarily with a "SPLAT" on the windshield of the car behind, before sliding off. The little girl who was riding with her father yelled, "Daddy! Ew, what was that? I'm scared."
Her father said, "Don't worry honey, it was only a bug."
His daughter said, "Wow, that bug really had a huge dick!"
ahahhah...
cheers =)

i have been watching alot of movies recently.

the latest being this fabulous show on thursday.. caught it with ed at yishun after our cds class in the evening.. it was a long show ( nearly 2.5 hours ), but it was highly entertaining.. the only downside was when ed and i stayed behind for awhile when the credits were shown, thinking of whether there would be an extra scene after the credits.. we left when we THOUGHT there wouldn't be.. damn when we learned that there was an extra scene, we were so pissed.. ahahah.. anyway it's a must watch.. go catch it!!
i have also recently caught Batman Returns and V for Vendetta on dvds.. very good shows, very political too.. ahahah..
as i blogged on this cloudy saturday afternoon, ed is having her swimming competition now.. i'm sure she'll do fine. ( i can't possibly say anything else right?? ) haha.
i'm very astonished at the fact that news have spreaded like fire ever since the people around me have heard of me getting together with ed.. suddenly it has become the topic of conversations.. the first thing when people from my diploma course say to me has now becomed " eh heard that your best friend has became your girlfriend"... but what creeps me more is that the tutor who calls me up to check on my work recently even knows about it!! WTF?!
just yesterday, i had a conversation with him.. he is actually my careperson ( a form teacher of some sort ) .. he was commenting about this particular skill of mine.. the ability to obtain a 'C' grade for ALL my modules during the mid-sem tests... ahahaha!!! then suddenly he changed the topic of conversation and said " So Adrian... yesterday( as in on thursday ) that one.. your gf isit?"
i was stunned.
my classmates started to tease me.. the hell.. first this tutor keeps calling me and checking up on me, now he is even stalking me!?!?!? haha ed commented that he is my 'stalker tutor' and even found him creepy.. my sentiments baby!! haha..
that said, it's been awhile since i had a proper game of football.. the weather now seems to be fine, hopefully i could play in the evening with my neighbourhood pals... i couldn't make it for street soccer this morning with slk.. damn.
tmr's AFL game is to be held at choa chu kang again.. this time is against the league leaders.. woohoo it's gonna be a hell of a test for us... especially since a number of key players are unable to turn up.. let's hope things work out our way. let's hope things don't get ugly.
Coming Home Late
Two married buddies are out drinking one night when one turns to the other and says, "You know, I don't know what else to do. Whenever I go home after we've been out drinking, I turn the headlights off before I get to the driveway. I shut off the engine and coast into the garage. I take my shoes off before I go into the house, I sneak up the stairs, I get undressed in the bathroom. I ease into bed and my wife STILL wakes up and yells at me for staying out so late!"
His buddy looks at him and says, "Well, you're obviously taking the wrong approach. I screech into the driveway, slam the door, storm up the steps, throw my shoes into the closet, jump into bed, rub my hands on my wife's butt and say, 'How about a blow job?'...and she's always sound asleep!"
haha hmmm that seems like a good strategy to adopt..
cheers =)

the world cup is over, so here i am.
i have finally recovered from the 'football fever' i got diagnosed with some time ago... but the recent trip to the doc's resulted in me learning that i have unfortunately contracted the latest illness- post world cup syndrome. i have the urge to stamp on people's groin area, and i fall to the ground upon the slightest of touches.. let's hope everything goes well....
well a number of things happened the past few weeks.. from my 4th blogskin in like a month, you would probably have figured tad there is now someone 'special' in my life.. haha and as almost all of u out there have already figured, the lady in my life now is ed- short for edwina. =)
many other things have happened. say last friday when my diploma course organised the annual games day.. i formed a team for the 5-a-side street soccer competition, choosing mainly my classmates as the core of the team.. i was actually desperate to win the competition twice in 2 years, but i lowered my expectations upon knowing the skill level of my teammates...
bak and meng happened to be there when the competition was held.. when he saw how we played he commented to me " wah you're a one man team sia..." basically, scoring 3 goals out of the team's total of 4 despite playing as defender and even goalkeeper at one point, pretty much says it all.. we managed to win a game out of 3 though, enjoying and bonding well as a team along the way- which was ultimately the main aim in my mind then.. apparently my performances were as solid ala Fabio Cannavaro, therefore one of my mates commented that i played as well as him ( refer to tagboard ). i somehow didn't really appreciate that comment though.. ahahahah..
sunday was a day of highs and lows.. it was sunday morning where i woke up with sore eyes due to the lack of sleep.. it was sunday early afternoon which started things off officially between ed and me.. then it was sunday evening, when i realised that i went all the way to choa chu kang for my AFL game only to realise at kick-off point that the game was to be canceled due to bad weather... the hell..
things just seemed to lightened up and became positive- i didn't fail my tests when i thought i would fail badly.. ahahaha!!! i also managed to escape from my tutors' clutches for not doing my work, and the amusing part is that i convinced them i did the tutorial work at the same time and not mark me down!! ( please do not ask me how in the world i managed to do it, it's the gift of the gab =p ) hahah!!
well i have to slowly adjust my body system back to pre-world cup now.. my tutors' are starting to notice me for my poor attendance and the no-shows of my tutorial works... haha..
i'm going off now, all the best to you guys.
hopefully things would be smooth-sailing. hopefully things would work out fine. wish us luck. =)
The Living Statues
Two statues stood in a city park: one female and the other male. These statues faced each other for many years.
Early one morning, an angel appeared before the statues and said, "Since the two of you have been exemplary statues and have brought enjoyment to many people, I am giving you your greatest wish. I hereby give you the gift of life. You have 30 minutes to do whatever you desire."
And with that command, the statues came to life. The two statues smiled at each other, ran toward some nearby woods and dove behind a couple of bushes. The angel smiled to himself as he listened to the two statues giggling, bushes rustling, and twigs snapping.
After fifteen minutes, the two statues emerged from the bushes, satisfied and smiling.
Puzzled, the angel looked at his watch and asked the statues, "You still have fifteen minutes. Would you like to continue?"
The male statue looked at the female and asked, "Do you want to do it again?"
Smiling, the female statue said, "Sure. But this time YOU hold the pigeon down and I'll crap on its head!"
haha... now that is a joke full of crap...
cheers =)
